Committee Introduction

The OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) is an international organisation founded in 1961 which consists of 38 member countries that works on improving the economic and social well-being for people around the globe, focused on economic growth, governance, stability, market economies, democracy and related topics. In this committee, delegates will tackle accountability and transparency in both public and private sectors in terms of public spending and investment. With the ever expanding digital economy, delegates will also discuss how to ensure fairness and healthy competition in this growing sector as well. Through cooperation and extensive debates, the committee will aim to develop policies that will enhance global trust, integrity, fairness and well-being of the global economy.
