Presenting the third committee of the United Nations General Assembly; Social,Humanitarian and Cultural Committee (SOCHUM). In this committee the delegates will be elucidating 2 separate agendas of the contemporary globe by magnifying them from the international community’s perspective.

First one is “Amplifying Global Means to Disintegrate Major Challenges upon Sexual and Gender Minorities”. In this agenda’s discussions, our respective house members will be upholding their country policies upon regulating the rights of sexual and gender minorities residing across UN member states; particularly their welfare, recognition dilemmas, marital statuses in accordance with one’s laws, casual-occupational-institutional life conditions and so on.

The second agenda which is “Procuring Methods in order to Restore Common Indigenous Heritages and Minority Rights” will focus on developing concrete policies and strategies to restore culture, rights and recognition of common indigenous heritage worldwide. Our house members will be encouraged to examine the historical and current challenges faced by indigenous communities. Through multilateral interchange, SOCHUM aims to promote sustainable policies and frameworks that especially ensures the preservation of common indigenous heritage, equitable access to sources, and the awareness of social, economical and cultural justice for all minority groups.
