Committee Introduction

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is in charge of organizing the UN System's responses to environmental issues. Its mission is to lead, carry out scientific research, and create solutions for a variety of problems, such as green economic development, the management of marine and terrestrial ecosystems, and climate change. In addition, the organization publishes and disseminates environmental science, creates international environmental treaties, and helps national governments accomplish their environmental objectives.
