Committee Description

The International Atomic Energy Agency, which was created in 1957 due to concerns about nuclear development’s sudden rise, is the primary international forum where governments cooperate in nuclear science and technics. It is also known as the world's “Atoms for Peace and Development” organization in the United Nations family. The agency's main objective is to cooperate with countries and promote safe, secure and peaceful nuclear tools. In this committee, delegates will be discussing the nuclear safety regulations after the ICONS 2024 conference that is held in Vienna, to understand and revise the matters upon safety and regulations in the current situation of the world.
